Celebrating the Evergreen High School Class of 2023

The graduating seniors of Evergreen High School in Colorado are gearing up for their biggest event yet – their graduation ceremony. This is a significant moment in the lives of the Class of 2023, as they bid farewell to their high school years and prepare for the next phase of their journey.

Senior Farewell and Flower Ceremony Assembly

The graduation festivities kick off on May 12th, the last day of school for the seniors, with the Senior Farewell and Flower Ceremony Assembly. This sentimental event is an opportunity for the graduating class to say goodbye to their fellow students and teachers, while receiving flowers as a symbol of their accomplishments.

Scavenger Hunt and Senior Movie Night

From May 12th to May 14th, the seniors will participate in a Scavenger Hunt, a fun and engaging activity that will allow them to bond and create lasting memories with their peers. On May 15th, the school will host a Senior Movie Night, providing the graduating class with a chance to relax and enjoy a movie together before their big day.

Graduation Practice and Senior Send-Off Luncheon

The following day, May 16th, the seniors will attend the Mandatory Graduation Practice, where they will receive their caps and gowns. Cap and Gown Photos will also take place on this day in the cafeteria, allowing the students to capture this momentous occasion.

At 10:30 am on May 16th, the seniors will attend the Senior Send-Off Luncheon at the Lake House, where they will enjoy a meal with their friends and teachers, celebrating their hard work and achievements.

Senior Academic Awards

On May 17th, the school will host the Senior Academic Awards in the auditorium, where select seniors will be recognized for their academic excellence. This invitation-only event is sure to be a memorable occasion for those in attendance.

Evergreen High School Graduation at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Finally, on May 19th, the Class of 2023 will graduate at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The graduation ceremony will begin at 2 pm, and there are no restrictions on the number of guests allowed this year. Graduates will arrive at 1 pm and check in with the Graduation Coordinator and Jeffco Security/Police before receiving instructions for processional line-up.

The graduation ceremony is a significant milestone for the Class of 2023, as they bid farewell to their high school years and move onto the next phase of their journey. This year, the ceremony will be Livestreamed, allowing family and friends who are unable to attend to share in the experience. Handicapped accessible seating ticket reservations are available for guests who need them.
